About JapanKore.Net
Japankore.net is a site for supporting, advertising and promoting J-Music/Entertainments. We mainly focus on Japanese Entertainment related but we have a bit of other stuff aswell. JKore(shorten for Japankore.net) is a non-profit Japanese Entertainment site in English, made mainly for promoting / advertising Jpop/Jrock artists or bands. We offer PV downloads for promotional use. We have had many visitors saying that, thanks to our site, they now know alot of new and great artists and are buying their CDs/DVDs and such. We will and always be a non-profit site, we do not get pay for anything here nor do we have any kind of sponsor so if you'd like to help us out please click on the paypal button on this site and donate us. Or you may contact us for other method/ways of donating. Our main goal here is to support and spread the greatness of Japanese music to everyone in and outside the Internet world.

Japankore.net went public on 7.8.2004. Our launch were pretty successful, we'd gather many traffics and visitors. In only 3 months we had over 1000 registered members on our forum. Many were active and over 5000 unique hits! Everything was all good until we were attacked. On Dec. 19, 2004 we were hit by a newly webworm going around the Internet killing any active site with PHP vulnerability. It was called "Santy" and we happens to be one of the victim of Santy. Everything were lost but it wasn't the end. Cypher had worked all week rebuilding the fresh new Japankore.net with a whole new look. We called it Japankore.net Rebirth. Japankore.net Rebirth was launched on the first day of 2005 with a whole new forum system, more secured and more powerful than ever! From here on we were slowly getting back up. Rebirth did not get much traffics as we should be. Many people left after the crash. Our site stats did not surpass our December rank. Not until May 28th, on May 28th of 2005 our stats is back on track! We have passed our December stats with over 68000 hits in that month alone! On July 8th of 2005, Japankore.net has been around for exactly one year. We update it with a new layout called "Reform" and offer a one week of public free downloads without any registration or password needed! On January of 2006 we move on to a new hosting company due to some financial problems. Our site was offline for almost a month due to transferring and on Feb. 11, 2006 Phoenix is born. Out from the ashes, we rise again! Forum was completely wipe out and everything starts a new! Phoenix deliver a rush start with flares, fire, and a quick flash of activity! Once again JK is alive and well but after that quick flight things went slow and sad... Due to the downtime we had and everything was wipe out again, some of our previous users didn't came back. Phoenix was later upgraded to a new Phoenix which didn't last long and now this Japankore.net Version Veil picks up from where Phoenix left and bring new hidden lights into this site. It's up to you to keep this light shine! Our site will continue to grow thanks to you guys.
